IPL 2017 schedule undergoes minor adjustments due to Municipal elections in Delhi

The Indian Premier League (IPL) plan has been reexamined inferable from the Municipal elections in the Capital planned for 22 April.

Because of the elections, the home matches including Delhi Daredevils, Mumbai Indians and the Rising Pune Supergiants have experienced minor changes.
According to the present calendar, two matches were slated to held on 22 April: Mumbai Indians against Delhi Daredevils which begins at 04:00 P.M. in Delhi and Sunrisers Hyderabad against Rising Pune Supergiants which starts at 08:00 P.M. in Pune.

With the amended timetable, Delhi will now have Mumbai Indians on 6 May and play their away match at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai at 8.00 PM on 22 April. In the mean time, Pune Supergiants will play around the same time yet their diversion against the Sunrisers has been pushed ahead to a 4.00 PM start.

New Schedule


  • 22nd April 2017-  DD vs MI in Mumbai at 8:00 PM as per IST.

  • 22nd April 2017- SRH vs RPS in Pune at 4:00 PM as per IST.

  • 6th May 2017- DD vs MI in Delhi at 8:00 PM as per IST.


The eagerly awaited IPL will be played from 5 April to 21 May over various urban communities in India.
